Set the service tag of iDRAC7

If you want to force a service tag of an iDRAC7 in order to use a license, here the procedure.

/!\ KEEP SOMEWHERE YOUR ORIGINAL SERVICE TAG /!\

1. Create a USB FreeDOS stick (you can use Rufus to do that).
2. Download this file.
3. Rename the file to asset.exe
4. Copy the file on the USB stick.
5. Power off the server.
6. Start the server and boot on the USB stick.
7. Delete the actual service tag and register the new one.

asset /s /d
asset /s XXXXXXX

Here's an example with a working service tag and the linked license.

asset /s /d
asset /s 9QYzF42

You can now reboot the server and upload the license in the iDRAC7.
